Provide support and involved with all marketing, business development and management of this specific area of Bridges and Transportation Structures for the business unit in support to the Executive Manager.Willingness and the ability to travel locally and in the continent for extended periods of time as and when required.Have a keen eye for detail and work accurately under pressure.Experience in business development activities within the industry.
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a dynamic team as a co-operative, collaborative and supportive team player.Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills coupled with a sense of urgency and a participative management style.Good time management skills, pro-active, practical and dedicated.Administrative and human resource management experience.Extensive experience in the use of NEC, FIDIC, JBCC and GCC contracts advantageous.Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Projects, AutoCAD, CADS RC, Revit, Prokon ,Midas and other relevant design software.Sound knowledge of both Structural Steel and Reinforced Concrete Bridge Design.Familiar with Bridge Design Standards of SANRAL and Local Government Departments.Has independently designed bridges and independently assumed a bridge engineer’s role.Post Graduate experience of at least 5-10 years in the design of large Bridges, Freeway interchanges and related transportation structures.At least 10 years’ experience in the consulting engineering industry.Masters degree in Civil Engineering would be advantageous. BSc / BTech Civil engineering with Professional registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech.Reporting directly to the Executive Manager: Structures
